yopeasants's Guide to Pig Stacking

Why use tactics when you can brute force it?

I am reviving this thread to say that you can still stack units, it just is more time consuming than it was.

What you do is select the army units you want stacked, then send them into the small area where you want them stacked. (Has to be reachable by walking)

You right click the farthest point multiple times then wait as the unit squeeze in there. If done right you can force 50+ units in a good sized spot.

Then you either use your builder or a building to block the exit.

Tada! Stacked units.

My best work so far is stacking 66 reaper marauders in Listener's zealot base (although it didn't affect the lvl 11 archon titan that much).

I'll get screenies or gifs later.

You have to do this before setting up a base. And you can't pick up the units without losing your stack permanently.

You can have a base in place to do this.

You can always reset your stack if you take units, it just is more time-consuming than D, click.

Not if you use reaper marauders.

Or drop ships.

Not like reaper's marauders actually do any damage...

It is funny though seeing 66 marauders dance around dealing a solid 100 or less dps and a solid 1 slow.

The only thing they really did was add 1 slow and probably around 4-5 cannon's dps due to your armor.
