But cloaking stops energy regen so moonlight could be used.

Thus moonlight DOES cost energy. It costs the amount of energy you regenerate in one second.

If you have a level 12 voltron and like 2 infestors with nydus, nydus into their base and when they start running for it, use the ultimate to block their path. Either you get the nydus in, or you kill the baser/a support. Either way, you win.
