My use of hotkeys:
1. zergling
2. lurker\overlords when spreading overlords
3. drones
4. towers
5. hatcheries/spawning pool
6. inject queen.

I am still trying to the important number. One is too far away from the rest, so I rarely use that. One day I will find it, even though I have 10 to choose from, I need to find the perfect number selection and become used to it.

Basers:
1) Builder
2) Hallucination for Zealot, Hellion for Marine, Queen for Zergling
3) In early game, supply; once I base, Titan Hunter for Zealot and Zergling, bunkers for Marine
4) In early game, workers; once I base, towers
5) Post-base workers as Zealot and Zergling, nothing for Marine
Support/Army:
1) Builder
2) Army for Baneling, Starport for Spectre, Predator for Reaper
3) Army #2 for Baneling (when splitting), Dropship for Spectre, Army for Reaper
4) Tech
5) Workers for Baneling, Hercules for Spectre, varying for Reaper
Changeling:
1) All Changelings
2-6) Individual Changelings
7) Tech
Dark Templar:
1) Builder
2) Warp Prism
3) Dark Stalkers (quite rare. Massing Dark Zealots is more effective, although more expensive)
4) In early game, Tech; post-Cadre, Dark Zealots
5) Post-Cadre, Tech
Kill Team:
1) Both
2) Medic
3) Marauder
4) Tech
5) Planetary Fortresses for quick weapon swithing, plus focus fire
1) Builder

For other basers its the same, just Queen is replaced by supply for detting.

I have exactly the same setup, except I tend to set tech on 6-7-8 because I do that in ladder too.
