Low fidelity most likely

Black metal musicians love it because it makes them sound like they're trve kvlt

I'm afraid that I am not well versed in music, or metal. Could you explain to me what is fidelity, and what is kvlt (and why is that good)?

Fidelity means faithfulness. In the context of music it refers to how accurately the recording of music matches how it would sound if played live (essentially). If you record a song with a webcam it will sound much lower quality than if recorded in a studio with professional equipment. In that case the webcam recording would be considered lo-fi and the studio recording hi-fi.

Black metal is an extreme subgenre of metal known for explicitly trying to be as underground and inaccessible as possible. Part of this is trying to sound as raw as possible, and that includes intentionally using low quality recording equipment to make the music seem less professional. Hence one of black metal's defining characteristics that it is lo-fi. Other genres occasionally use it that I'm not as well versed in to similar effect. Some punk music is lo-fi to emphasize that it is far from mainstream.

Trve kvlt (true cult) is just a metal meme used to refer to the underground nature of black metal. The more underground, the more kvlt it is. U's are replaced with V's and C's with K's (I think) to make it seem Latin to emphasize black metal's Satanic nature
